Quality Assurance Services: Standard and Advanced Recycling Managers Training Courses
BeEnvironmental provide quality assurance services and moderation of the development and delivery of both the standard and advanced training courses offered by WRAP. The Quality Assurance and Moderation reports produced have been used by WRAP to continuously improve the training courses

Masterclass Programme Development
BeEnvironmental have developed a number of Masterclass sessions on behalf of WRAP in relation to specific waste management issues. BeEnvironmental are responsible for planning the events in terms of the content, identifying appropriate speakers, identifying target audiences, chairing the sessions and providing facilitation services.

Recycling and Organics Technical Advisory Team (ROTATE) Programme Support: Communications Plans and Strategies for Local Authorities
Under the existing ROTATE framework agreement BeEnvironmental have produced communication plans for the Durham Kerb-it authorities (Durham County Council, Durham City Council, Easington District Council, Chester-le-Street District Council and Sedgefield Borough Council), and for Lisburn City Council in Northern Ireland.

Facilitation of seminars and training sessions
Under the current ROTATE framework agreement BeEnvironmental developed a programme based upon the WRAP Monitoring and Evaluation Toolkit and presented the information at six half day training sessions to local authority recycling officers and their line managers.
In addition BeEnvironmental also provided input into the monitoring session of the one day follow-on workshops focused on Local Authority Communication Campaign Training and provided facilitation services for both the monitoring and the campaign sessions during the workshops. This included a focus on the use of the national (Recycle Now) campaign material.

Community Sector Training
BeEnvironmental provided support to WRAP in relation to the development of a training programme to support community sector engagement with local authorities.

NVQ Promotional Pilots
BeEnvironmental are running a project designed to establish the level of interest in the Recycling NVQs in the north-west of England. This project involves bringing together key stakeholders in qualifications and recycling collections and undertaking and analysing surveys of the likely capacity and uptake of the awards.
